M.A.D COMPETITION TEAM

Are you Motivated About Dance and ready to take your training to a new level?! The M.A.D competition team consists of students who have the desire to take dance to a professional level beyond recitals. Competition dancers range in the ages of 5 to 17. Dance team students on an average take as many as 10 dance classes per week, perform locally throughout the community, and travel all over the U.S. to compete on a regional as well as national level. Ballet training is a must if you are interested in the dance team. Some of our dance team students take up to 5 hours of ballet technique weekly.

We will be holding auditions for our 2024-2025 competition season on June 8th .

Students ages 5 and older are invited to try out for a team.

Dancers should be in proper dance attire. Leotard or sports bra, tights, shorts, dance shoes and hair in a bun!!
We have a variety of competitive teams and therefore encourage all skill and experience levels to audition, however, please remember that auditioning does not guarantee placement on a competitive team.
Information sheets will be available at auditions!!
Team placement will be posted no later than June 15th. When your child comes to audition they will receive a number. Keep that number handy. Your child's team placement will be identified by their audition number.
Auditions are done by age. Come to the time for the age you are on the day of auditions!!
Dancers do not need to prepare an audition piece.
We compete in jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop, pom, and tumbling!

Please send your dancer with water and a light snack if needed.

**Please Note: Team practices will begin July1st if you are selected to be on the team
