Dramatic Dance

Jazz 1/2

Designed for ages 7-18 introduces dancers to the dynamic and expressive world of jazz dance. These classes focus on developing coordination, strength, and performance skills in a supportive and creative environment, encouraging dancers to explore their own unique movement qualities while building a strong foundation in jazz dance.

Dancing in the Street

Hiphop 1/2

Designed for ages 7-18 introduce students to the energetic and diverse styles of hip-hop dance. In these classes, dancers learn foundational hip-hop techniques such as isolations, popping, locking, and basic footwork. They also explore rhythm, musicality, and personal expression through choreography that reflects contemporary hip-hop culture. These classes promote creativity, confidence, and physical fitness in a supportive environment that encourages individuality and fun in hip-hop dance.

Gymnast

Tumbling 1/2

Designed for ages 7-18 focuses on developing strength, flexibility, and coordination through a variety of floor-based gymnastic skills. Students learn fundamental techniques such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and basic tumbling passes, progressing to more advanced skills based on their individual abilities. These classes emphasize safety, proper technique, and skill progression in a supportive environment, allowing students to build confidence and mastery in their acrobatic abilities while enjoying the physical challenges and creative expression of tumbling.

Lyrical 1/2

Designed for for ages 7-18 combine elements of ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance with emotional storytelling and musical interpretation. Students learn fundamental lyrical techniques such as fluid movements, expressive gestures, and transitions that convey emotions and themes. These classes focus on developing technique, flexibility, and artistic sensitivity while encouraging personal expression and creativity in choreography. Lyrical dance provides a platform for dancers to connect deeply with music and explore their emotions through a blend of technical skill and expressive movement.

Ballet 1/2

Designed ages 7-18 levels 1 and 2 provide a structured approach to classical ballet training. Students learn fundamental ballet techniques including positions, barre exercises, and center work, focusing on proper posture, alignment, and flexibility. Emphasis is placed on developing strength, coordination, and grace through disciplined practice, preparing dancers to progress confidently through foundational ballet skills and routines.

Old Tap Shoes

Tap 1/2

Designed for ages 7-18 introduces students to the rhythmic and percussive art form of tap dancing. In these classes, dancers learn basic tap techniques including shuffles, flaps, and simple combinations that build coordination, timing, and musicality. Emphasis is placed on developing clear and precise footwork while exploring different rhythms and styles of tap dance. These classes foster creativity, rhythmical awareness, and a joy for making music with their feet, providing a solid foundation for advancing in tap dance skills.

Turns & Leaps

Designed for ages 7-18 focuses on developing the technical skills required for executing turns and leaps with precision and grace. Dancers learn proper body alignment, spotting techniques, and strengthening exercises specific to turns such as pirouettes and fouettés. They also practice various types of leaps including grand jetés and tour jetés, working on height, extension, and control. This class emphasizes building strength, flexibility, and coordination necessary for mastering advanced turns and leaps while fostering confidence and artistry in performance.

Deep Stretch & Core

Designed for ages 7-18 designed to enhance flexibility and core strength through targeted exercises and stretches. Students engage in a series of deep stretches that lengthen muscles and improve overall flexibility, focusing on areas like hamstrings, hips, and shoulders. Core strengthening exercises such as planks, crunches, and leg raises are also included to build stability, endurance, and support for dance movements. This class aims to improve range of motion, prevent injuries, and enhance performance by promoting balance between flexibility and muscular strength.

Conditioning

Designed for ages 7-18 designed for dancers to focus on building strength, endurance, flexibility, and overall physical fitness. These classes typically include a combination of exercises such as cardio drills, bodyweight exercises, resistance training, and stretching. The goal is to enhance muscular strength and endurance specific to dance movements, improve cardiovascular fitness, and prevent injuries by promoting proper alignment and muscle balance. Conditioning classes help dancers develop the physical stamina and agility necessary to excel in various dance styles and perform at their best level.
